Today’s high efficiency furnaces can reach an AFUE of up to 98%, so $0.98 of every dollar worth of gas burned by the furnace is heating your home. Heat Pumps

Tankless Water Heaters
Tankless water heaters have been the norm in Europe for years, and are now a going concern here in Canada. Originally developed in Europe, where energy costs have been through the roof forever, these units were developed to provide hot water on demand instead of continuously burning gas to keep a reserve tank of hot water always on hand. While we don’t pay anywhere near what Europeans pay for their gas, it still makes good economic and environmental sense to run an “on demand” or “tankless” water heater.
